PORTRAITURE

Portraiture is central to my work. Looking into the iris of a storied life is a gift with an invisible wrapping, opened with gratitude and grace.

This is about mutual presence - shaped by trust, and time. Every encounter unearths precious nuggets from my own nature, in ways I might never have otherwise known. The resulting images are emotionally resonant. A shared internal landscape made visible.

I work with portraiture as a relational gesture: I hold space for vulnerability,  inviting it to lay itself bare - and me, being there, being bare too. Open to a way of seeing that changes me.

“Pippa’s portraiture is deeply collaborative”
